India’s world ranking in cycling

Indian cyclers are on a rise especially the juniors, by becoming second team in the world in 4000 m category. The wave in the sport is not just an overnight success since the junior players cycled really a long way to place India on the world map .The credit further goes to VN Singh, chief national coach for his remarkable never-ending effort in transforming emerging cyclists into champions in a very short span of time.

According to the latest news from UCI World rankings.In the competition Kazakistan is the top most ranking team with 1283.75 points. Whereas India holds second position with 1230 points which is just 30 points more than the third position which is holded by Japan having 1200 points. For the success of the junior cyclers the credit also goes to chief national coach VN Singh for his efforts in helping the cyclists to boost there morale and putting the efforts to make them champions.

Last year, Esow Alben had made a history in cycling by winning india’s maiden medal at world level. Esow was only 0.017 seconds backn then Jakub Stastny n of Czwch Republic who got gold medal. Esow’s credentials and talent were never in doubt.He became the world No. 1 junior sprint cyclist after a stupendous show at the Asian Track Championships, the 2018 Cottbuser Sprint Cup 2 and GP Brno Track Cycling competition
